PRONATEC stands for organic and fair trade
For 50 years, we have committed ourselves to the distribution of sustainably produced and fairly traded products for the global food industry. Our range includes cocoa beans, semi-finished cocoa products, chocolate coatings, chocolate, sugar, vanilla and numerous spices with a large number of organic and fair trade certifications. Thanks to close collaboration with our partners in the countries of origin and our direct supply chains, we can ensure full traceability of our products.
Since 2022 we have been producing high-quality organic cocoa mass, butter, powder and nibs “Made in Switzerland” at our own production facility, PRONATEC Swiss Cocoa Production. Here, at the world’s first exclusively organic cocoa processing plant, we specialise in meeting exacting certification standards and combining various labels. Thanks to batch processing, our cocoa plant is very flexible and allows for both large and small production runs, as well as processing customer’s own cocoa beans under contract (tolling services).

A supply chain without intermediaries
As a matter of conviction, we buy organic and fair trade raw materials directly from smallholder organisations wherever possible and not from intermediaries.
We know our producers in person and form long-term partnerships with them. We take social responsibility and have a direct influence on improving the livelihoods of smallholders.
