Our mission is to supply the food industry with high-quality cocoa products, sugar, vanilla and spices and at the same time to improve the quality of life of smallholders in the countries of origin. Die The smallholders, processing staff and their families should receive a fair price for their products and services. They should be able to lead a dignified life with their earnings and have opportunities to develop independently. Organic agriculture helps to improve soil fertility in the growing regions and to protect biodiversity in the long term.

We offer our customers substantiated, personal product advice, high-quality raw materials as well as processed products and we guarantee full traceability. We bring our customers closer to the world of smallholders and the growing regions.We are not satisfied with the status quo. We initiate and pursue new projects in order to extend the benefits of fair and environmentally friendly trade and to influence the lives of more and more people in a positive way.

For 50 years, PRONATEC has been a pioneer of organically cultivated and fairly traded cocoa products, sugar, vanilla and spices.

Today, around 60 employees work at our headquarters in Winterthur, around 37 at our production site for semi-finished cocoa products in Beringen near the Rhine Falls in the canton of Schaffhausen and 4 at its warehouse in Germany, close to the Swiss border. In addition, around 300 employees work in our subsidiaries in the countries of origin of our raw materials. Across years of innovation and growth, we’ve stayed true to one core principle: supplying the food industry and trade with premium organic and fair trade certified products, straight from the countries of origin.
