ORGANIC AND FAIR TRADE CHOCOLATE & COATINGS

We provide the food industry and wholesalers with a wide range of organically produced and fair trade chocolate & coatings.

Our rich organic and fair trade chocolate & coatings are an important key ingredient in delicacies from chocolatiers and manufacturers of sweet products, chocolate bars and baked goods. The chocolate & coatings are ideal for casting hollow figures, chocolate bars and other chocolate specialities or for coating boxed chocolates, nuts, bars and a range of sweet products.

We buy the main ingredients for our coatings, such as cocoa, sugar and vanilla, directly from smallholder cooperatives in the countries of origin. Since 2022, the cocoa mass and cocoa butter for our coatings have come from our own Swiss cocoa production facility, PRONATEC Swiss Cocoa Production – the world’s first exclusively organic cocoa processing plant.

ORGANIC CHOCOLATE & COATINGS

All of our chocolate & coatings are produced organically. No synthetic pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used during the cultivation of organic cocoa and sugar.

We therefore never use soya lecithin as an emulsifier, but instead use a high proportion of high-quality cocoa butter. This ensures that our chocolate & coatings are non-GMO and stand out for their delicious flavour.

FAIR TRADE CHOCOLATE & COATINGS

It is very important to us that our cocoa, sugar and vanilla producers receive a fair price for their products. That’s why all our organic chocolate & coatings are certified as Fair Trade.

The Fair Trade premiums not only offer smallholder families a valuable additional source of income, but also enable investments to be made in community projects in the areas of education and health as well as the improvement of agricultural infrastructure.

The entire production chain is free from child labour.

We believe in buying cocoa, sugar and vanilla for our organic and fair trade chocolate & coatings directly from smallholder organisations whenever possible.

For our chocolate & coatings, we exclusively use high-quality cocoa cultivated in a controlled organic environment from the Dominican Republic, Peru and Madagascar.

Our customers benefit from our close relationship with our producers, as this allows us to guarantee the traceability of our products across the entire supply and processing chain. We are also happy to provide information and pictures about the work of smallholders, quality assurance and fair trade projects.
