Support for Ukraine from the organic sector

After the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture made a collection appeal for urgently needed relief supplies such as food and hygiene items, it received so many offers of help that the original logistical plan had to be significantly expanded. PRONATEC is contributing around 2,100 kg of sugar and 600 kg of chocolate to the delivery to war-torn Ukraine.

We are all deeply concerned about the war in Ukraine. Through a personal contact with the German alliance “Deine Ukraine Hilfe”, PRONATEC is currently contributing to food deliveries to Ukraine from the organic sector. Numerous donations in kind are currently reaching the war-torn country via Poland.

With 2,100 kg of sugar and a pallet of chocolate from our warehouses in the Netherlands and Germany, we hope to make a small contribution to the relief of the food shortage and give a little joy to children who have such difficult everyday lives. The goods are now being transported to Ukraine via Poland on articulated lorries. The German magazine BioHandel reported on the campaign at the beginning of March.
