New organic regulation accelerates the trend towards natural vanilla extracts

The new organic regulation stipulates that from 1st January 2021, only organic and natural flavourings and carriers may be used. This will obviously accelerate the trend towards sustainable and natural flavours.

The extracts in our bourbon vanilla range are very popular, being particularly convenient for use in an industrial environment. Our customers for chocolate, tea, milk products (yoghurt and ice cream) and natural cosmetics give their products the finishing touches with the typical aroma of Bourbon vanilla.

As well as the proven two-fold and ten-fold concentrations, PRONATEC offers two further extract products with a constant vanilla content. The Bourbon Vanilla Extract (liquid) with 0.5% Vanillin and the Bourbon Vanilla Extract Powder with 0.35% Vanillin are ideal for large-scale industrial recipes that have stringent requirements for consistent sensory properties. The final item in our range is a de-alcoholised vanilla extract with an inverted sugar base. This semi-processed product has the advantage of being highly convenient and particularly easy to dispense in the production process.

In all our extracts, we use only natural bourbon vanilla beans from our own initial project in the north-eastern Mananara region of Madagascar.
